The
Natural Sciences have the largest departments in the non-compulsory
subjects. The largest is Mathematics, followed by Life Sciences and Physical
Science. The Life Sciences department consists of three large, well-equipped
and well stocked laboratories, and a fourth laboratory is shared
with Physical Science mainly for the teaching of Natural Sciences
to junior classes.
The
Physical Science department consists of a Physics laboratory and
a Chemistry laboratory though there is a degree of overlapping in
each laboratory of these two disciplines. A third laboratory is
shared with Life Sciences. To assist teachers of these two subjects there
is a highly qualified laboratory assistant.
